Valentine Robotics specializes in machine vision, in line inspection, and turn-key automation, and robot guidance solutions. It is the North American distributor for Scorpion Vision software, which is a PC based software that was developed so that integrators and end users can quickly create 2D and 3D machine vision applications.
The new partnership with Rave will help the company to bring out cost effective and optimal performance robotics products.
Valentine Robotics benefits by having a local partner that can be leveraged for its IT knowledge. "Rave understands our products and also understands the different environments of our end customers, whether it be high-vibration or high-temperature," said Nick Tebeau, Systems Integration Manager of Valentine Robotics. "This partnership allows me to focus on our core competencies while reducing service concerns."
Rave has developed advanced technology solutions and configured five base systems to provide optimal performance to Valentine's end robotics products.
Joe Borowicz, chief financial officer, Rave Computer said that company's partnership with Valentine further solidifies Rave's presence in the IT integration market. "Continuing to support local business development efforts within Michigan is an important objective for Rave."
Rave Computer Association supplies, integrates and develops servers, workstations and mobile computers to the U.S. military, prime contractors, independent software vendors, and original equipment manufacturers. Company also claims that it offers hardware and software maintenance on all products purchased through the company.
Rave Computers has
recently introduced the new Rave/Sun Ultra 24 Hybrid server. The company says that the server was developed for customers requiring a workstation in a rackmount form factor. The system also has four accessible high-capacity hot-swappable drives with full RAID capabilities, and is 400 Hz capable.
