Companies in the IT industry manage processes in technology and telecommunications including information systems, computer hardware and software, programming languages and any additional data constructs.
With multimedia on the rise as technology is changing the way we live and work today, IT companies are more important than ever before. Below is a list of 10 prominent information technology companies (in no particular order) who are continuing to change and maintain the industry.
EMC is a global info tech provider that has its hands dipped in many different aspects of the IT industry. Please keep in mind, these are not the top 10 IT companies, but rather a collection of 10 of the most newsworthy IT companies of this year. There are certainly more that while they have not been mentioned does not mean they are not significant in the IT industry.
