Linux Labs Expands Sales Team to Increase Focus on Linux Based Cluster Computers

Searchlight Solutions announced that its subsidiary Linux Labs International has expanded its sales team to look at growth-oriented activities in its core business of designing and building Linux based cluster computers.

The growth-focused sales team of Linux Labs will be trying to gain from the growing demand for high performance computing.

Searchlight Solutions is a data services company focusing on developing and growing cloud based solutions to solve tomorrow's computing challenges. Linux Labs is a hybrid engineering firm specializing in technologies that expand the field of high performance supercomputing.

According to HPC Advisory Council, the total HPC market in 2010 was $25.6 billion reaching $36.0 billion in 2015, recording a $10.4 billion growth during 2011-2015.

“We expect our sales plans will enable Linux to secure additional business sector clients of the caliber of an ARUP or in public sector such as universities or government agencies,” company officials said, in a statement.

Linux Labs has already demonstrated their expertise in complex HPC applications for the past seven years by offering software design and support for ARUP, Second Avenue Subway, FireLink, among others.

Linux Labs engineering team includes several experts in this field. The company designs and builds high-performance supercomputers utilizing their proprietary NimbusOS

Recently, Linux Labs announced its agreement with Certichron, a developer of Provable Time Services, to offer hosting for their OATS Time Verification Service. Besides hosting Certichron systems in their data center, Linux Labs will assist with the future development of Certichron's OATS Time Verification Services.
