Linux Labs in Pact with Certichron to Provide Hosting for OATS Time Verification Service

Linux Labs International, a subsidiary of Searchlight Solutions, announced its agreement with Certichron, a developer of Provable Time Services, to offer hosting for their OATS Time Verification Service.

Besides hosting Certichron systems in their data center Linux Labs will assist with the future development of Certichron's OATS Time Verification Services (OTVS).

The OTVS service is made available to the securities industry by placing instances of the NIST time service infrastructure around the edges of the trading framework. It is providing the evidence capture practice which existing time services fail to provide, according to a press statement.

Leveraging Certichron's time services, business can keep their business systems in sync to address OATS 7430 market transparency requirements.

It also protects their clients in the event of a dispute. The OTVS service offers connection to the local independent Timing Authority which is wrapped around the US National Timebase provided by the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST).

Certichron is a specialty Network Service Partner who provides secure and regional access to time-as-evidence services. Certichron provides an evidence-grace connection model and court-admissible logging data for proving events in time.

Certichron's methods exceed industry standards and provide a full chain of custody for accessing the National Time Standard of the US Government in its various locations around the continental US.

Recently, Linux Labs completed development for the prototype of its cloud-based secure storage solution, which is a component of the Linux Labs Indigo file system. The newly built solution is named haystack model, referencing the analogy of finding a needle in a haystack.
