MegaPath Delivers All-in-One Security with Managed IPsec VPN and Unified Threat Management

Provider of voice, data, security and cloud services in North America MegaPath (News - Alert) has announced the release of a new solution, Managed IPsec VPN and Unified Threat Management (UTM). This new managed network and security service was designed to be simpler and faster than competing private networking solutions and is compatible with practically any commodity internet connection. Because of its low cost to get started, quick implementation and ease of management, it is well-suite to the needs of small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

Earlier in the year, MegaPath introduced the Top Partner Club Program, a new tier of its partner program meant to reward the top two performing channel partners each quarter with a unique prize.

The MegaPath full managed IPsec VPN securely connects distributed work sites and remote workers with end-to-end encryption, along with next generation firewall protection, ensuring confidentiality, data integrity and authentication. In other words, users are given safe and secure access to enterprise data and applications among branch locations and from remote laptops, tablets and other devices.

Meanwhile, the UTM portion of the solution offers comprehensive, multi-layered security that safeguards company networks and information assets against viruses, malware and other emerging cyber threats with components like Intrusion (News - Alert) Detection and Prevention, Content Filtering, and Antivirus and Anti-phishing. Used in conjunction with MegaPath’s Managed IPsec VPN and Firewall, the solution provides integrated, end-to-end network security superior to a DIY approach or multiple standalone solutions.

“Do-it-yourself networking and data security can be complex, time-consuming, and difficult to implement and manage,” said Kurt Hoffman (News - Alert), president and CEO of MegaPath. “MegaPath simplifies networking and security for our customers by taking the burden off of IT managers and business owners to secure their networks. SMB customers and their IT partners can now rely on a single service organization for the licensing, procurement, installation, management, and maintenance of their secure network infrastructure, all for a single flat fee per site.”
