It seems that the new year is the best time for companies to revamp or retool their partner programs. After all, it’s barely been a week since 3CX revamped its PBX Partner Program with more rewards and greater transparency and now MegaPath (News - Alert) has made a similar announcement.
In particular, the provider of voice, data, security and cloud services recently introduced its Top Partner Club Program, which was created to reward the top two performing channel partners each quarter. Adding even more excitement to the program, it seems MegaPath only plans to announce the prizes for each quarter at the beginning of each quarter.
For Q1 of 2016, the top performing partner will receive a custom Caribbean Cruise package for two, including cruise tickets, airfare and spending money, a value of $4,000. The runner up for this quarter, meanwhile, will receive a $1,000 cash prize.
In November, MegaPath became the first VoIP and unified communications (UC) company to partner with Bigleaf Networks. Specifically, MegaPath joined the Bigleaf Cloud Assurance Partner Program, which aims to help partners’ cloud apps achieve peak performance.
“MegaPath is excited to recognize its top performing partners for their dedication and commitment to customer success,” said Robert McCarthy, vice president of Channel Sales for MegaPath. “The Top Partner Club Program is one of many channel programs we plan to introduce throughout 2016 to not only recognize, but add value to, our partnerships.”
The MegaPath Top Partner Club Program is open to Alliance, Advantage, Gold Advantage, Referral, legacy Covad Sales Agents and Dealers, and legacy Speakeasy (News - Alert) Solution Partners—provided they have current, active contracts. The program is also open to Master Partners that offer 100 percent pass through to their top performing Sub Agents.
To be eligible, orders have to be enrolled by March 31 and must be installed within 60 days of enrollment. Winners of the first quarter contest will be announced in June 2016.
