Astaro Publishes Free Network Security and Profitability eBook

Driving Profitability Through Information Security describes how organizations can use information security to increase productivity and profitability.

Officials with Astaro said that this eBook, written and published by the company, details how organizations can use security functions to increase productivity in their workforce.

Compoany officials said that it provides tips for using content filtering, VPN connections and protecting a company’s reputation, all of which will impact an organization’s profits.

“Most organizations realize that it is necessary to secure their networks, but what many do not realize is that the same tools that stop spam and block hackers can also be used to increase profits,” said Bob Darabant, vice president Americas, Astaro Corporation, in a statement.

Darabant said that when organizations use security tools to their full potential they can help make employees more productive and the organization will be more efficient resulting in higher profits.

Back in July Astaro Corporation had announced the release of Astaro Web Application Security (News - Alert), which protects Outlook Web Access and other applications as well as servers from sophisticated attacks such as SQL injections and cross site scripting.
