AMD Introduces New Additions to its Next-Generation ATI FirePro Family

Offering advanced performance and features to the professionals in the digital content creation (DCC) and Computer Aided Design (CAD) industries, AMD has unveiled new additions to its next-generation ATI FirePro family - ATI FirePro V7800, ATI FirePro V5800, ATI FirePro V4800, and ATI FirePro V3800.

The ATI FirePro 3D family of workstation graphics cards combines a new ATI OpenGL optimized driver with the award-winning ATI FireGL graphics technology. This provides a new level of graphics performance and reliability for professional 3D graphics users, states the company.

Designed to meet the specific needs of each market segment, this next generation of the ATI FirePro family of professional graphics cards have been tested in real-world scenarios to help ensure compatibility and stability for certification with various software applications.
