By Deepika MalaRave Computer, a major player in providing purpose built computer systems, has received the Michigan Small Business Government Contractor of the Year award at the Michigan Celebrates Small Business Awards Ceremony.
Created by five founding organizations, The Michigan Celebrates Small Business event is an annual awards program created to recognize the importance of successful small businesses across the state of Michigan.
It was the Macomb Regional PTAC that nominated Rave Computer out of approximately 450-500 active clients, for its contribution to the overall growth of Michigan's economy.
"Rave Computer has demonstrated that they are an innovative company focused on providing excellent computer hardware and auxiliary services to the defense industry in support of national security," said Beth Cryderman-Moss, Director, Macomb Regional PTAC. "Their success is directly attributed to their active pursuit of growth and improvement and also continuously evolving to maintain relevancy to the defense sector. The Macomb Regional PTAC is proud to celebrate this award with them."
Michigan Governor Rick Snyder (News - Alert) and Richard Sheridan of Menolo Innovations were among the chief event speakers.

For the Small Business Government Contracting Award, the 12 Procurement Technical Assistance Centers of Michigan nominated one business from their region.
