By Deepika MalaRave Computer, a major player in providing purpose built computer systems, has appointed John Branstetter as vice president of marketing and communications. In his new role, Branstetter, a resident of Highland, Michigan, will be responsible for leading Rave's overall Marketing and Communications objectives.
"John's extensive knowledge and insight in driving strategic marketing initiatives will make him a valuable addition to our team," said Rick Darter, CEO and president of Rave Computer, in a press release. "His past experience is a great fit for Rave's growth strategy to increase our presence in our Military, OEM and ISV markets. We're proud to welcome him to our executive team."
In supply chain management and corporate marketing consultative initiatives, Branstetter holds over 30 years of experience. Prior to joining Rave, John served as President of Incontrol Logistics which consults with companies seeking professional expertise for strategic marketing and sales planning, business reengineering, corporate customer service training, and functional technology consultation.
Academically, Branstetter holds a Masters of Science from the University of Missouri and a B.S. in Education from Lincoln University of Missouri. He has also served in the U.S. Army as an Infantry Ranger Advisor. Later on, he was honorably discharged as a Captain.
The company, based in Sterling Heights, Michigan provides customer configured solutions to OEM's that embed computers, the defense industry, Independent Software Vendors and commercial customers that require integration services or supply chain management support.
In related news, Rave Computer has announced that it has increased its sales team with a local office in Minnesota and hired Tami Anderson as regional director of sales and business development.
