Lieberman Software, FoxT Offer Integrated Enterprise Password Management Solution

By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor

Lieberman Software Corporation, a provider of enterprise password management solutions, has formed a partnership with Fox Technologies (FoxT), a company that protects corporate assets with an enterprise access management solution that centrally enforces granular access entitlements, in real-time, across operating systems and business applications on any networked device.

The partnership delivers an integrated solution that combines the Privileged Identity Management (PIM) capabilities of Lieberman Software's Enterprise Random Password Manager (ERPM) with privileged user management (PUM) features of FoxT Enterprise Access Management solutions.

ERPM automates the tasks to discover, secure and audit the thousands of privileged credentials used by administrators, computer services and software applications to access sensitive information and computing resources. In this manner, the ERPM helps ensure that unauthorized users and malicious programs cannot gain access to sensitive or proprietary data.

Meanwhile, FoxT's Enterprise Access Management solutions centrally manage and enforce granular multi-factor authentication and authorization policies down to the OS resource level. It controls delegation of privileged accounts and restricts which privileged commands can be executed by a given user.

The combined solution will deliver advanced PIM and PUM in an integrated interface. It will eliminate the concerns associated with enterprise password management, company officials said. It will also help multi-platform enterprises achieve continuous compliance, while reducing the risks of network attackers and insider threats.

“At Lieberman Software we take pride in partnering with the industry's top innovators,” said Philip Lieberman, president and CEO of Lieberman Software, in a statement. “FoxT is the recognized leader in privileged user management and we develop the most advanced privileged identity management products in the security industry. By integrating these capabilities, we give customers the best-performing, most mature PIM and PUM solutions in a single user interface.”

“Bringing together the best-in-class privileged identity and access management solutions will provide organizations with greater flexibility and depth in how they secure access to systems,” said Subhash Tantry, CEO at FoxT, in a statement.

Both Lieberman Software and FoxT have a common strategy of seamlessly connecting privileged identity and enterprise password management to the existing IT infrastructure including SIEM, GRC, identity management, and helpdesk solutions to further streamline administration and compliance reporting, Tantry added.

The Lieberman Software - FoxT integration is available immediately at no cost to the companies' supported customers.

Earlier in June, Lieberman Software Corporation announced a partnership with eB2Bcom, a value added reseller for the Asia Pacific.  The partnership enables eB2Bcom to market, sell and support Lieberman Software’s enterprise password management solutions throughout Singapore, China, India and other countries within the Asia Pacific region.
