Hosted PBX Provider Telesphere Announces Concierge Communications as Top Producing Partner

By Anil Sharma, TMCnet Contributor

Telesphere, a nationwide hosted PBX (News - Alert) VoIP and Cloud Communications business phone and Internet service provider, has announced that Concierge Communications, a master communications agent, has again earned the top producing partner award for 2009.

This represents the sixth consecutive year Concierge Communications has earned this prestigious award.

Concierge Communications, headquartered in Tempe, Ariz., has focused on selling Telesphere’s (News - Alert) Complete and Select solutions. They have an installation base of client locations in over 40 states, representing hundreds of managed circuits and thousands of hosted VoIP seats.

“We are excited to be recognized by Telesphere and are pleased with the continued growth of our long-standing relationship,” said Clark Atwood, vice president of technical sales for Concierge Communications, in a statement.

Atwood said that the rapid adoption of managed wide-area networks and hosted PBX technology has helped the company to significantly increase sales over the last year.

“Telesphere continues to provide us with the products and support needed to be successful in the cloud,” he said.

“We congratulate Concierge Communications on their continued success and are ecstatic to present them with this award,” said Clark Peterson, chief executive officer of Telesphere.

Peterson said that they have demonstrated their ability to be a true partner and have made themselves an invaluable extension to the Telesphere team.

“We look forward to their continued success as a Telesphere master agent,” he said.

Back in July Telesphere had announced that it plans to expand its Las Vegas sales force in the immediate future, as well as other key sales and support positions.

Over the past two years, Telesphere’s investors continued to show confidence in Telesphere’s business model, providing $35 million in additional capital.

Officials with Telesphere said this amount is the most capital raised by any venture backed privately held company in Arizona during that period, and continues to strengthen Telesphere’s position in the marketplace as a major player in the hosted VoIP space.

Company officials said that in addition to the increase in Las Vegas sales force, the company’s upcoming expansion will include the hiring of a project manager, a sales engineer, and an Indirect Channel Manager in California.
