Telesphere (News - Alert), a nationwide hosted PBX business phone and Internet service provider, has been nominated for two Colorado’s Technology Association’s (CSIA) Apex (News - Alert) Awards.

In the company category, Telesphere has been nominated for the Technology Service of the Year Award and individually, Bob Paulsen, chief operating officer of Telesphere, has been nominated for Technology Executive of the Year.

The 2010 Apex Awards are prestigious technology awards recognizing outstanding accomplishments and leadership by Colorado's advanced technology companies and professionals.

The winners will be announced on July 15, 2010 at the 10th annual Apex Awards Ceremony.

Since the program's inception in 2000, CSIA's Apex Awards "We are honored to be nominated for the 2010 Apex Awards. Both Telesphere and Bob Paulsen are well deserving of this recognition," said Derek Sandhoff, general manager of Telesphere Denver, in a statement.

Sandhoff said that Bob has always exhibited tremendous leadership skills, while thinking of what is best for Telesphere, its employees and its customers.

"I am thrilled to be recognized for such a prestigious award and congratulate the other well-deserving nominees," said Bob Paulsen, chief operations officer of Telesphere.

Paulsen said that as a provider of hosted PBX (News - Alert) and business VoIP services, the company has achieved record growth despite the current economy.

Su Hawk, president of CSIA said that it's important to recognize those companies and professionals that drive the Colorado technology industry.
