Hosted PBX Provider Telesphere Launches FaxMail And Speak2Dial

By Carolyn J Dawson, TMCnet Contributor

Telesphere, a cloud communication, VoIP and hosted PBX (News - Alert) for business phone and internet service provider, recently announced the launch of two new products to its portfolio, the FaxMail and Speak2Dial, to enhance and continue its focus on Fixed Mobile Convergence (News - Alert) (FMC) offerings to its customers, wherein there would be no restraint of being tied down to a single device.

Telesphere was one among the first organizations to provide hosted enterprise level Communication-as-a-service (CaaS), and enables full access of voice and data features with cost effective on-premises equipment, to its customers.

FaxMail basically allows its users to send and receive faxes to any email client, from their Outlook, or even their smart phone, via secure and dedicated connection, which does not utilize dedicated analog lines which are connected to the fax machines for incoming and outgoing faxes; rather it transmits using digital connectivity. It automatically delivers the inbound fax directly to the intended recipient’s email account, and makes it easier for them to annotate, forward, or even archive received faxes, while using a familiar email environment. It’s easy to manage, increases the employee productivity, and enables a seamless workflow process.

Speak2Dial is a new cloud based service that’s being offered by Telesphere (News - Alert), its primary objective is to allow users to access a company or business directory via voice prompts, either from their office or even their mobile phones, they can dial by voice instantly, all its requires is a programmed button on their land line or cellular phone, such as a favourite or rather the common speed dial, and they will have a one-click access to the Speak2Dial company directory. The user will then speak the name of the person they are trying to communicate to, or they can simply create shortcuts such as operator, or IT helpdesk, or HR or technical support, wherein they can reach a department number even if they don’t have the specific contact person’s name.

The details get synced automatically from their mobile phones and other directories, so there will be no need to manually sync the directories every time. They can also use the Voicemail feature by uttering the word, the system will them prompt for credentials. The Speak2Dial will also be useful during driving or emergency situations, wherein the user need not search the entire directory but need to simply say the contact name or the shortcut.

In a release, the CEO of Telesphere, Clark Peterson, said that, “We are excited to announce the release of these products, which will help our customers streamline their communications while reducing costs. As communications continue to move to the cloud, managing all services in one place is swiftly becoming reality.”

The CTO of Telesphere, Sanjay Srinivasan, added that, “We are excited to announce the release of Speak2Dial, and know it will be a big hit based on the feedback of our beta customers. Anytime we can make our customers' lives easier with the release of a new product, it is a win-win.”
