TalkSwitch Signs Canadian Distributor Gentek

By Anil Sharma, TMCnet Contributor

TalkSwitch (News - Alert), the developer of owner-friendly phone systems for small business, has appointed Gentek as an official distributor for Canada.

Gentek is a North American distributor of Broadband, Network Security and VoIP products and solutions.

Gentek has added TalkSwitch IP PBX (News - Alert) phone systems to their impressive line of vendors, offering VARs and resellers the best choices for their Canadian SMB customers.

Officials with TalkSwitch said that the company’s hosted PBX phone systems come loaded with the features small businesses need to sound professional, save money and stay connected anywhere.

Company officials said that the features include built-in voicemail, voicemail to e-mail, auto attendants, music on hold, mobile phone integration, remote management and support for analog and IP handsets. Capacity is up to 64 users per location, and TalkSwitch hybrid IP PBX phone systems work with the traditional telephone network and VoIP.

"We have been searching for an affordable and high performance IP PBX product line for the SMB sector, and we're pleased to add TalkSwitch to our portfolio. We believe TalkSwitch and Gentek together will deliver tremendous value to VARs and resellers in Canada," said Jeffrey Freedman, vice president marketing, Gentek, in a statement.

Jan Scheeren, president and CEO, TalkSwitch said that Gentek has the experience and market knowledge with telecom products that the company looks for in an organization.

“We are very pleased that VARs and resellers in Canada will have the opportunity to work with Gentek and enjoy increased sales with top notch support and service," said Scheeren.

Back in September TalkSwitch had appointed ComBiz LLC as the official distributor for the Caribbean region.

ComBiz is a telecommunications infrastructure supplier and service organization delivering solutions for voice, data, video, and power solutions.
