From attending Burning Man to Datacenter Dynamics Washington D.C. to Cisco Live, data center power monitoring company Server Technology (News - Alert) has kept itself quite busy this summer. And, in just a few days, Server Technology will be gearing up for yet another trade show, AFCOM Data Center World.
Taking place from Sept. 11-14 in Orland, Fla., AFCOM Data Center World is an educational conference for data center professionals. Server Technology, a company that for the past 25 years has been providing some of the biggest companies in the world with power management solutions, will join some of the leading data center professionals in the world at the event.
“Server Technology has been heavily involved in AFCOM Data Center World for several years,” Brandon Siri, Sever Technology’s senior marketing representative, told TMCnet. “When it comes to data center centric trade shows, AFCOM DCW is one of the best events in the world. We see the right data center professionals coming to these events time and time again. With today’s growing focus on data center power and energy efficiencies within the data center space, Server Technology always sends power experts to the events to share our wealth of power distribution knowledge with IT staff and data center managers.”
Server Technology will be exhibiting at booth No. 706 at this year’s event and will be allowing participants to view the company’s latest firmware (v6.1) for a test drive at the booth.
“When AFCOM DCW attendees see the new user interface, including the easy to read power and environmental monitoring charts, they are sure to be impressed with how user friendly and easy to use the firmware is,” Siri said. “Our power experts are also open to any and all questions from attendees. Recently, Server Technology released the most powerful CDU on the market (a 60A, 415V Smart CDU) and we want to show attendees how our engineering expertise leads to these powerful designs.”
At this year’s event, Server Technology is most looking forward to demoing its best-of-breed CDUs (Cabinet Power Distribution Units) as well as its Sentry Power Manager (SPM). According to company officials, the comprehensive power distribution solution, consisting of CDUs and power monitoring software, is the full package when it comes to data center power.
Moreover, the data center power monitoring company is looking forward to sharing stories about how Server Technology has helped some of the largest companies in the world enhance their data centers with Server Technology’s all-inclusive solution.
“AFCOM is a large focused data center show and that makes it ideal for anyone working in a data center,” Siri said. “We know the right people are going to be there and that’s why Server Tech participates. We want to talk to individuals who are interested in learning more on the many benefits of intelligent power distribution.”
So what is Server Technology looking to take away from this event?
“Server Technology is a forward moving company, and our power distribution solutions are always evolving to meet the demands of data center managers today,” Siri said. “We love to educate, but we also love to learn what’s new so that we can continuously improve and build the products that the market is demanding. We want to know what the customer is thinking so we can build solutions that are right for them and their data center. Attendees will not regret the experience they will have at AFCOM DCW this month. We look forward to seeing you there!”
