Appnomic Network Monitoring Intelligently Adapts to Help Process Automation

Business process automation as a strategy eliminates superfluous roles and moves essential functionality to programs or utilities, allowing a workforce to concentrate on more pressing matters. Network monitoring has historically been an involved process requiring at least some portion of personnel to oversee its execution, but with Appnomics line of network monitoring, the job can be handled with supervision.

“One of our founders Paddy (D. Padmanabhan ), was an architect of a cold program used in the Asia Pacific region. Banks are doing 20,000 transactions in a minute and when you’re trying to debug with a database like this you don’t have an opportunity to recreate the load, the layers are very much dependent on the load that’s happening. The amount of debugging was nearly impossible to handle with this high a volume of transactions. We built our applications based on the need to intelligently adapt to loads in real time,” said VP of product management, Manisha Arora in an interview with TMC (News - Alert) at this year’s Cloud Connect Expo.

The company maintains two flagship applications that can work in tandem or separately to increase the efficiency of cloud hosted applications and services. Appsone monitors performance across multiple tiers of your application infrastructure and gives you actionable data to proactively manage application SLA. Opsone can then be used to automate IT Operations and Infrastructure management processes in shared service environments.

Arora said,“This is targeting a means to take an operation process with a mix of manual and automated operations and quickly automate it end to end. Manual monitoring, with excel spread sheet, our product removes the need to do this. Plus it’s not tied to a particular language, it’s a very open and you can run scripts across multiple platforms and tools. Manual intervention can still be included but can reduce the team size when service programming.”

Because Appnomic’s products require zero programming skills and have graphical interfaces they can easily be incorporated into the winning IT management strategy of any company.
