Micro Strategies Opens IBM Business Partner Innovation Center in Pennsylvania

Micro Strategies Inc. plans to open an office and Technology Solution Center in the Philadelphia metropolitan area during the fourth quarter of 2010. The multi-million dollar facility in Malvern will feature a full-fledged IBM (News - Alert) Business Partner Innovation Center (BPIC), showcasing the latest IBM technologies. The new BPIC facility will test and demonstrate products from IBM, Microsoft (News - Alert) and other Micro Strategies business partners.

In collaboration with the BPIC center in Denville, New Jersey, the Malvern center will demonstrate sophisticated solutions for replication, high availability, business continuity and disaster recovery. Together, these facilities will provide technology innovation workshops, training and skill knowledge transfer. Businesses will now be able to ensure compatibility of their new technology investments with their existing IT infrastructure using the facilities proof-of-concept test.

Anthony Bongiovanni, president of Micro Strategies said, “Micro Strategies is leading the way by making this possible through our substantial investment in a second BPIC. Now, we can provide our clients and customer prospects with hands-on access where they can benchmark or build proof-of-concept demonstrations for distributed solutions such as replication across two locations.”

Micro Strategies’ new BPIC will be open to ATS Group who are the local advanced technology providers and who will be using the facility for information technology infrastructure demonstrations and implementations. As IBM’s premier business partners, Micro Strategies and ATS Group have successfully worked on multi-location projects and the new facility will further complement their future collaborations. Excited about the partnership, Bongiovanni commented that by working together, both companies can address multi-location technology infrastructure projects based in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

Tim Conley, who is the managing partner of ATS Group, said that his company “welcomes Micro Strategies to Malvern and looks forward to new business development opportunities made possible through the new facility. These technical resources will help us to extend our own advanced technology services offerings in the Philadelphia region.”

In order to address the needs of new and existing clients in the area, the new Philadelphia-region office will also support additional sales and marketing resources. By combining their in-depth business process knowledge and applications, Micro Strategies develops innovative technology solutions for mission-critical information technology infrastructure.
