Android, Symbian and Windows-Based Cheap Phones Soon to be Available

Chinavasion, a leading provider of Cheap China mobiles, predicted that Android (News - Alert), Symbian and Windows based Phones will soon be available for as low as $130. According to Chinavasion, Cheap mobile phone software will soon be getting the much awaited upgrade of the century and is bound to be released mostly before Christmas.

As per the announcement made by Symbian (News - Alert) Foundation, the complete Symbian system will become an open source system and this transformation from proprietary to open source licensing system will account to be the largest shift in the world. Prices of Android based phones have also reduced, now falling in the range of $100 to $150 while Mobile Internet Devices and Windows Mobile phones are now cheaper than before.

Excited about the recent development, Rose Li who is the PR manager for Chinavasion said, “China mobile makers have mastered the art of making a basic cheap cell phone. These new developments in Open Source (News - Alert) opens up worlds of opportunities.” 

She added that previously the only platform available for cheap mobile phone manufacturers was Nucleus RTOS, with phone price going up to US 100 max. Although Nucleus RTOS was quite capable for cheap phone, it did not have the same potential as those of Windows, or Android or Symbian operating systems. As a result of the new development, the PR manager believes that cheap mobile phone customers and re-sellers will now enjoy the same functionality previously available only on pricey smartphones.

According to Chinavasion, other features likely to be available on the upcoming phones would include PC Synch, productivity tools, online browsing, email, customizable phone application and more. The PR source also added that irrespective of the underlying operating system, the leading China mobiles trader would continue to offer high quality and efficient phones at low cost.
