Nimsoft On Demand Integrated into the Virtual Ark Platform

Campbell, Calif-based Nimsoft, a provider of Unified Monitoring solutions for virtualized data centers, has announced that international managed service provider “MSP” Virtual Ark has deployed Nimsoft On Demand as an integrated component of the Virtual Ark Platform.

Virtual Ark will leverage Nimsoft On Demand to provide highly scalable application managed services to large enterprise customers as part of its next-generation Software-as-a-Service “SaaS (News - Alert)” offerings.

SaaS holds the promise of benefits such as pay-per-use pricing, high availability, reduced capital and operating expense. ISVs use the Virtual Ark platform to enter the SaaS market by converting and managing traditional applications to work in public or private clouds, without significant re-engineering or the need for multi-tenant application redevelopment, and without the upfront investment and financial commitments typically faced by ISVs.

As a component of the Virtual Ark platform, Nimsoft On Demand allows for a competitively differentiated real-time monitoring of SaaS resources. Other useful features are user-friendly dashboards and comprehensive reporting tools.
