Agiliance, Qualys Enter Partnership to Provide IT Security Assessment On Demand

Agiliance, Inc. a provider of integrated Governance, risk and compliance or GRC solutions, and Qualys (News - Alert), Inc., announced a technology partnership to integrate QualyGuard vulnerability and asset data with Agiliance’s real-time risk and compliance solution, RiskVision.

According to company sources the integration of QualyGuard with RiskVision helps customers to use both platforms to achieve real-time continuous compliance and IT security assessment on demand. Agiliance has integrated the RiskVision platform to deliver real-time security risk management on demand.

Also the combination of QualyGuard’s on demand vulnerability scan results and Agiliance’s real-time business and security data provides customers with an always-on, always-current view of their security risk postures. The availability of real-time risk data enables better prioritization of response and allocation of security resources.

The ability to measure security risks on demand enables a security response team to receive instant feedback on remediation effectiveness to meet stringent security policies and regulatory compliance mandates.

Philippe Courtot, chairman and CEO of Qualys said, “Our partnership with Agiliance provides customers with an effective IT security risk management solution to assess risk based on the security posture of assets collected from QualysGuard scans. With this integration, customers can identify threats and vulnerabilities in real-time and optimize their ability to mitigate these risks quickly and effectively.”

Agiliance sources added that RiskVision received the highest possible rating of “Strong Positive” in the latest Gartner (News - Alert) MarketScope for IT GRCM. On the other hand QualyGuard Vulnerability Management or VM received the highest possible rating of “Strong Positive” in Gartner’s Vulnerability Assessment MarketScope.

The integrated solution is in use at one of the largest electric companies in the U.S. for cyber threat intelligence. In a healthcare organization it is being used for enterprise risk management. It is also being deployed by a financial services technology solution provider for FFIEC risk assessments and PCI (News - Alert) compliance.

Joe Fantuzzi, CEO of Agiliance said,   “The integration with QualysGuard further extends Agiliance's leadership in the GRC market. Combining QualysGuard’s on demand security data with our real-time business and security risk data provides our customers with a scalable, cost-optimized and comprehensive IT risk management solution that helps them be more secure and compliant.”

Qualys provides on demand IT security risk and compliance management solutions delivered as Software-as-a-Service solutions that are deployable within hours across the world. It provides customers with an immediate and continuous view of their security and compliance postures.
