Smartphones to Provide Remote Support with ISL Light for Windows Mobile

ISL (News - Alert) Light for Windows mobile has been released by ISL Online, a provider of cloud-based communication and collaboration software. ISL Light extends multi-platform support to mobile phones and also allows users to access and control a remote desktop from their smartphone. Alternatively, users can also access smartphones from computers.

The flexibility and productivity of remote support software is taken to a higher level by ISL Light for mobile phones. Users are allowed to access and control remote computers and solve technical problems from virtually anywhere. Access and control of a remote desktop is possible. Editing of documents and working with remote applications is also possible. This is similar to the users sitting behind the remote computer. Users however only need to carry a mobile phone to carry out all these activities. There is no need to carry a netbook around.

Part of the ISL Online product suite, ISL Light offers an overall online communication service. These services include remote access to unattended computers also known as ISL AlwaysOn, live chat software also known as ISL Pronto and web meetings also known as ISL Groop. All four ISL Online solutions for remote support and collaboration are incorporated in ISL Online's annual license. This license also includes ISL Light for mobile edition. The annual license is priced at 390EUR.

ISL Light is considered by some to be a secure and simple way to offer remote technical assistance. Customers can use their home and office PC from anywhere in real time after a quick installation of ISL AlwaysOn
.
The PCs can be accessed from the browser in a secure manner at any time. With ISL Pronto, customers can answer the sales inquiries and support requests online made by website visitors.
Customers can make presentations and provide training in real time online with ISL Groop, a perfect collaboration tool.
