Eden Prairie, MN-based cloud computing infrastructure company ReliaCloud has announced a full channel program based on its enterprise-class infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud computing offering.
As per an IDC (News - Alert) report, IT cloud services revenue is set to grow at an average rate of 26 percent per year. An ever increasing number of enterprises are migrating their IT to the cloud due to its easier set up, scalability, flexibility, built-in maintenance and support, and reduced costs for hardware and software maintenance.
ReliaCloud will provide its resellers a suite of tools that supports their resale process. In addition, the company provides partners sales and marketing support including marketing collateral, video tutorials and cooperative marketing funds. It has also developed a series of programs that maximize the use of their Cloud Storage and Cloud Servers for each of their customer profiles. In addition, Value Added Resellers (VARs) have the benefit of bundling ReliaCloud with their existing technical offerings to deliver a combined solution. What's more, ReliaCloud gives each partner direct access to an assigned channel manager.
What sets ReliaCloud apart in an increasingly crowded market is superior customer service. SMB partners have often lamented that very few cloud providers understand their needs.
'We are excited to launch a program that allows managed service providers the opportunity to expand their business by offering cloud services,' says Brian Stevenson, Vice President of Sales for ReliaCloud. 'We expect IT consulting firms and managed service providers to be the driving force of cloud adoption.'
With 15 years of experience in the data center and hosting business, ReliaCloud provides services that are production-ready, with low-cost bandwidth and high-level data security. In another article, TMCnet reported that ReliaCloud and enStratus have joined forces to sponsor 2010 CloudCamp events and an April 7 webinar to educate information technology professionals about the business advantages of using cloud computing.
