ClearCenter Announces the Availability of ClearBOX 300 Linux Server

Clear Center is a well known provider of open source Linux Server, Network and Gateway (News - Alert) solutions. Recently, it announced the availability of ClearBOX 300 to the global markets through the global network of ClearCenter Partners. ClearBOX 300 is a Linux server appliance for small businesses and distributed IT environments.

Michael Proper (News - Alert) who is the CEO of ClearCenter said that 'ClearBOX 300 is ready for the international installations. In fact, we have been overwhelmed with the current demand which is coming from markets outside the United States. With a global network of qualified ClearCenter Partners, we are ready to deploy the ClearBOX on any continent with the assurance that customers will receive proper local Linux server support. Clearly our strategy of global presence through ClearCenter Partners is paying off with a dramatic increase in demand for ClearBOX in international markets.' 

ClearBOX 300 claims to be the first of a planned product line of Linux servers. It is considered as an additional hardware option to ClearCenter's portfolio of global Linux server products and services.  It is easy to configure. Also, it can be customized to address the requirements of the local site with integrated services such as remote server backup, remote system monitor, and content filter updates. This can be done by using any of the 20 language packs.

Some of ClearBOX 300's Linux server features include Web server, MySQL, RAID, POP/IMAP server, mail Quarantine, mail aliases, mail archive, mail Disclaimer, mail queue, mail retrieval, print server, FTP server, file scanner, groups, flexshares, system monitoring, hardware report, resource report, and system logs.

Some of ClearBOX 300's Linux network features include Multi-WAN, DHCP server, local DNS server, 1-to-1 NAT, DMZ, Firewall protection, port forwarding, IPsec VPN, openVPN, PPTP VPN, network status and report, and Windows networking.

ClearBOX 300's Linux gateway features include anti-malware, anti-spam, anti-virus, anti-phishing, greylisting, bandwidth & QoS, intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, protocol filter configuration, content filter, Web proxy, intrusion report, Web proxy report, and mail report.

Some of ClearBOX 300's directory features include users & group management, domain & LDAP, and directory import/export.

Clear Center offers its network and gateway solutions for global markets such as home, business, government, education, and healthcare.
