SysAid IT Benchmark Survey Indicates Automating IT Helpdesk Processes As Top Trend

SysAid Technologies Ltd., a global provider of helpdesk software solutions and Customer Service Support software, has remarked automating IT helpdesk processes as a rising trend based on its proprietary IT Benchmark survey.

IT benchmark is part of SysAid's intuitive help desk software, which provides IT administrators with a variety of innovative and useful tools to better manage their infrastructure and centralize user data, service request history, hardware and software inventory into a single, easily accessible, user-friendly web interface.

SysAid's tool has recorded a 42 percent increase in the number of service requests submitted via its End-User Portal and a 37 percent increase in the number of service requests submitted via email integration between November 2009 and February 2010.

"IT administrators can now compare how they are managing their assets with how it is being done across industry," Israel Lifshitz, founder and chief executive officer of SysAid Technologies.

"Not only does that give insight into best practices, but it also motivates IT managers to improve their own processes," LIfshitz added.

Lifshitz also believes that the noted increase in submitted service requests via the end user portal and integrated email is probably due to the result of administrators becoming motivated to improve their departments' processes.
