Red Hat Selects Jobs2web Platform

Red Hat, a major player in enterprise Linux and open source technology, has selected to utilize Jobs2web's Recruitment Marketing Platform to attract top talent across a wide spectrum of Web 2.0 recruiting channels.

Officials with Jobs2web said that Red Hat (News - Alert), which has a global human resources team for their 58 offices and 3,100 employees, approached the company with a variety of initiatives for engaging and retaining candidates in 2010-11.

Red Hat leaders also wanted to empower their recruiting team by giving them a line of sight into recruitment advertising analytics and metrics that would enable them to demarcate unproductive channels.

Company officials said that with the installation of the Recruitment Marketing Platform, not only do Red Hat recruiters gain visibility into recruiting trends, but they'll also be able to latch on to Web 2.0 communities that are rife with talent.

According to company officials, the Recruiting Dashboard, the nucleus of the platform, will give recruiters and sourcers unprecedented power to reach their new 2010 goal of aligning themselves with overall business initiatives and strategies by keeping costs down and attracting top-tier candidates.

"Open source and collaboration are at the foundation of our business model at Red Hat," said L.J. Brock, Red Hat's senior director, Global Talent Acquisition, in a statement.

Brock said that the company believes that collaboration is not only the best way to build technology, but also the best way to spur innovation.

"The same philosophy applies to Red Hat Talent Acquisition and our excitement in collaborating with Jobs2web. Red Hat and Jobs2web are industry recognized leaders that are revolutionizing Talent Acquisition together," he said.

"With a technology innovator like Red Hat as a client, Jobs2web can say with confidence that we are the go-to source for interactive recruiting solutions," said Ken Holec, CEO, Jobs2web.

Holec claimed that other vendors offer a fraction of what Jobs2web bundles into a single cost-effective package.

"We look forward to powering Red Hat's recruitment strategies in 2010 and 2011 and to propelling them to a significant advantage over their competitors", he said.

Jobs2web is a provider of interactive recruiting solutions.
