TMCnet had the opportunity to speak with a number of key industry players at Interop this year, including Entuity. Kenneth Klapproth, VP of Marketing Entuity visited the TMCnet media booth for an interview captured on video.

One of Entuity's key products is the Eye of the Storm, which helps businesspeople make better business decisions. What does this mean? It is a key company focus to enable companies to make the most of the network management software investments. Eye of the Storm takes it one step further.

Companies are tying to implement best practices to reduce expenses or get the levels of productivity needed. Entuity is focusing on perspectives to give a company the business level view of the infrastructure of the network and how it is delivering on business initiatives. This helps businesses make better decisions on how to run their business. It creates a more efficient and effective environment while also reducing costs.

In working with Entuity, companies can start gathering information on how much power is used on the network, how much power was being consumed. This process allows for a more efficient operation of the network and is definitely a Green IT Perspective. It also helps to save a significant amount of money.

There is also the branch office perspective as the solution finds any WAN circuits and specifically indicates how the WAN is performing. This information is then put into a dashboard to allow for better decision making to determine if they are performing as designed.

"It's a way to address the business level decisions that people have to make today," said Klapproth.
