Roamware Introduces SDS 7, Latest Version of its Service Delivery System Platform

Roamware (News - Alert), a provider of mobile roaming and financial services solutions, has introduced the latest version of its Service Delivery System platform, SDS 7. With reduced roll-out costs and greater speed to market, the advanced new platform helps Roamware to rapidly develop and deploy mobile operator services.

The SDS Platform of Roamware offers more than 30 applications and is currently installed across 400 mobile operator networks in over 150 countries. Roamware SDS platform has been granted thirty-two patents and additional 200 are pending.

In a release, Roamware's EVP of Engineering, Avnish Chauhan, commented, 'Global operators are increasingly demanding much shorter application development and deployment cycles. Developed on standard modular platform architecture with advanced functionality that is completely hardware agnostic the key features of SDS 7 include an inbuilt quality testing capability which reduces the months of testing time usually commonplace with core network applications.

The new platform has been designed in a way to co-exist with the existing applications and also to significantly improve efficiencies in transaction processing and load management. To support a range of existing and emerging wireless technologies including 3G and LTE (News - Alert) in the fast evolving standards within the wireless landscape, the ultra modular structure of the platform has been designed.
