PragmaDev Intros New Version of Real-Time Developer Studio

PragmaDev has introduced Real Time Developer Studio (RTDS) V4.1, which is equipped with over 40 new features.

The company said that the new features make the newest version the “most complete model driven development tool” dedicated to real time and embedded applications based on international standards.

Informal, semi-formal, and fully formal are the three levels of modeling offered by Real Time Developer Studio Company officials said informal modeling is mainly used for documentation.

The most advanced level of modeling allows simulation, prototyping, verification, full code generation, debug on target, and test of the model, said company officials.

In the latest version of RTDS, ASN.1 data types are supported in SDL models; code coverage is available when simulating SDL systems; code without any dynamic memory allocation can be generated; built-in C scheduler is available for code generated out of SDL Z.100 systems.

It also includes new symbol for informal comments in dynamic MSC (News - Alert) trace of an SDL-RT system. Company officials said that with RTDS V4.1, observers can be described graphically when checking the model; and also code generation can be done on a stand alone UML system.

Moreover, built-in PragmaDev License Manager now comes with a graphical tool to analyse license usage; a full document can be created automatically from the model speeding up documentation work; and more, said company officials.

Paris, Francebased PragmaDev is a provider of graphical software modelling tools based on SDL international standard with its Real Time Developer Studio set of tools.

Last year in September, the company announcedthat Airbus selected CS as its prime subcontractor for its expertise in the safety critical domain, and PragmaDev modeling tool suite based on international standards, for the specification and design of the Air Trafic Control (ATC) software embedded in its aircrafts.
