Former Auto Dealership Worker Employs the Internet to Mess with Vehicles

You might not agree with the actions of the fired Texas auto dealership worker who remotely disabled ignitions and set off horns on vehicles at his former employer, but you have to appreciate his ingenuity.

According to reports, 20-year-old Omar Ramos-Lopez used a former colleague’s password and an Internet connection to mess with more than 100 vehicles at the Austin business.

Charged with felony breach of computer security, Ramos-Lopez was in the Travis County Jail yesterday with bond set at $3,000.
