Xsigo Systems Japan, CTC and Hitachi Bring I/O Virtualization to Japanese Market

Xsigo Systems Japan has announced that it collaborated with Hitachi, Ltd. and Itochu Techno-Solutions Corp., also called as CTC, in a bid to bring I/O virtualization solutions to the Japanese market.

 

The San Jose, CA (News - Alert)-based company offers data center I/O virtualization solutions that help organizations reduce costs and improve business agility.

 

According to officials with Xsigo, all three partners will be offering a joint solution that will facilitate enterprise customers to deploy cloud computing environments in a very short time along with pre-certified configurations.

 

Available immediately, the joint offering is a debut offering of an ongoing agreement between the three companies.

 

In addition, all the three companies will be developing, selling as well as supporting solutions that are designed specifically to meet the needs of cloud infrastructures.

 

In this regard, systems integrator CTC will be developing and selling the solutions, while Hitachi (News - Alert) will be providing storage, system operation management software and technical support.

 

Xsigo will also be offering I/O virtualization products and technical support.

 

According to officials with Xsigo, the company’s virtual I/O technology can address multiple server I/O issues encountered in cloud computing deployments. Also, officials note that the soution offers two to four times more bandwidth to each server, thus optimizing the use of server resources.
