Technology Services Europe 2010 Proves to be a Learning Event

The Technology Services Industry Association, one of the largest and the most powerful association in the technology services industry, concluded the Technology Services Europe 2010 conference with a closing keynote from noted IT innovation expert Dr. Hans van Grieken, who capped an inspiring three days of sessions devoted to “Services in the New Tech Landscape.”
 
Reportedly, more than 160 senior executives from Europe’s technology services community attended this learning event held this week in Barcelona.
 
Van Grieken, vice president of business innovation at Capgemini (News - Alert) Nederland B.V., presented stimulating observations on the current and emerging landscape in the worldwide technology industry, noting the shifting boundaries between systems integrators and technology product companies and the future consequences of emerging new service delivery technologies.
 
TSIA claims that its TSE 2010 event served as a platform for insight and discussion among senior management from global technology leaders including Capgemini, Dell, EMC, Genesys (News - Alert) Telecommunications Laboratories, Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi Data Systems, Microsoft, Motorola, Siemens, Symantec, Vovici, and Xerox. Keynote presentations were also delivered by TSIA president and CEO J.B. Wood and TSIA executive director Thomas Lah.
 
“The TSE conference continues to be a truly unique event that is supported by an elite group of technology services industry thought leaders who look to TSIA for meaningful, real-world strategies to help their organizations respond to the significant shifts in the global market landscape taking place today,” said Wood.
 
TSE 2010 service technology solutions providers included Capgemini, Citrix Online, Compuware, Coveo, Language Weaver, LivePerson (News - Alert), Marketii, NextNine, PRTM, and Service 800.
 
The conference, as mentioned, covered even academia and science sessions featuring senior members of Technische Universitaet Muenchen Business School, Niles-Simmons Industrieanlagen GmbH, FIR Research Institute for Operations Management at Aachen University, ISS International Business School of Service Management, Mercator School of Management/University of Duisburg-Essen, and Competence Center Services Management/Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
