AMD Professional Graphics Receives Certification for Solidworks 2010 on Microsoft Windows 7

Advanced Micro Devices (News - Alert) has announced that Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corp., a US-based software company that develops and markets the software SolidWorks and related applications for design and engineering, has certified its entire family of ATI FirePro professional graphics to support the SolidWorks 2010 on Microsoft (News - Alert) Windows 7.1.

SolidWorks is a 3D CAD design, analysis and product data management software provider. The new version of the software, SolidWorks 2010, has been optimized to work in tandem with ATI FirePro professional graphics and Windows 7.1, the latest Microsoft operating system to deliver fast performance and advanced stability for professionals working with mechanical designs. Apart from the certification by Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corp., the ATI FirePro graphics family by AMD (News - Alert) has received more than 90 application certifications, claims the company.
