SoliCall Announces Availability of Audio Improvement Technology for Mac Operating Systems

SoliCall, an Israel-based provider for noise reduction and echo cancellation solutions, said that it has added a new platform to its “out-out-of-the-box” supported platforms and is now available for Macintosh operating systems.

Currently, SoliCall (News - Alert) supports Windows, Linux and Mac. Company officials said that with this latest announcement, VoIP providers can now enjoy SoliCall’s advanced echo cancellation and noise reduction solutions in Mac OS as well as Windows and Linux.

With this new release, the company expects to “substantially” increase its grip in the audio processing and VoIP industry. The company indicated that it is committed to basing its technology on standard frameworks and infrastructure to allow it to be easily ported and run on a variety of platforms.

Additionally, the company said that it offers a free evaluation kit of its SDK and PBXMate for companies who are looking to improve and monitor voice quality in their VoIP networks/solution.

Founded in 2006, SoliCall has developed a patent-pending personalized voice pass filter that identifies the voice of the speaker and extracts it from the audio signal. The company said that it stands for communicating better by improving existing means of communication on any platform.

In September, the company announced the availability of its PBXMate for H.323 VoIP Networks. PBXMate is designed to improve the quality of voice calls through the reduction of both noise and echo in any VoIP/IP PBX (News - Alert) system.

In July, SoliCall announced that InterMedia Marketing Solutions implemented the SoliCall PBXMate across its call center.
