“Our DiskClon is unparalleled in terms of speed and innovation,” said Harry Rhim, CEO of SYNET USA, a distributor of Clonix DiskClon product in the United States. “Consumers will find it tough to beat and irresistible to own.”

Company officials said that the DiskClon makes duplicate of hard disks at a fast rate of 4.2 gigabytes per minute. It leverages the capabilities of image-based cloning which duplicates the actual data making it fast and efficient. Also verification levels enable verification of the created copy in comparison with the original thereby preventing data loss.

DiskClon supports different operating and file systems such as Windows and Linux, FAT32, NTFS, Ext2/3, and Reiser FS. The machine is also compliant with major disk wipe standards like UN NSA Erasure, US DoD 5220.2 M, US DoD 5220.22 M, Peter Gutmann Standards and Single Pass.

The networking ability of DiskClon enables users to duplicate hard disks from remote sources. It also lets source image files from the image server be distributed across the network to DiskClon for duplication. This enables creation of several duplicate copies of the images simultaneously.

New Jersey-based SYNET distributes DiskClon in the United States. The machine was unveiled at the IT Channel USA Conference 2009, which was held at Santa Clara, Calif. in the first week of this month. The event was organized by SYNET and sponsored by Korea IT Research Institute

SYNET is a professional sale sand marketing firm which promotes strategic partnerships between the North American market and Korean IT companies supporting them in the entry into North American markets.
