Google Sponsors Free Webinar on Maximizing Return on Information

However, often, it’s difficult to organize, manage and access this information. Google and Technology Marketing Corporation, or “TMC (News - Alert),” will be presenting a free Webinar on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. that will lend information to company’s hoping to simplify the data collection and management processes within a given organization.

Titled “Telecom Companies and Google: Maximizing Return on Information,” the Webinar will break down the Google Search Appliance, or “GSA (News - Alert),” program that offers simple, high-value search solutions to help telecom companies decrease IT costs and maximize ROI, and ways companies can implement the successful process.

The session will feature presentations by Vijay Koduri, product marketing manager at Google Enterprise, and Erik Linask (News - Alert), TMCnet’s editorial director.
Koduri, with more than 13 years experience in product marketing, marketing strategy and business development, will educate attendees on how to understand customer needs around enterprise search and delivering tailored solutions with Google (News - Alert) Enterprise Search.

Linask, who oversees the daily operation of TMCnet, which delivers news, information, videos, white papers, podcasts, and more to three million visitors each month, will also present ways to improve data systems management for companies in the telecom industry and beyond.

Attendees will learn how to make a company’s Intranet or Websit search engine as relevant and reliable as Google’s with the GSA, which provides universal search for business, which allows for all enterprise or website content to be searched through one easy, familiar box.

Additionally, attendees will learn how to use GSA’s system to perform the following tasks:

·         Search diverse repositories using OneBox
·         Search billions of documents
·         Customize security to your needs
·         Increased customization for administrators
·         Scale to any size in seconds
