Black Box Adds New Products to its Networking and Communications Solutions Line


Black Box Corporation has added new products to its networking and communications solutions line. The products are listed in Black Box’s (News - Alert) website. The world’s largest technical services company, Black Box is dedicated to designing, building and maintaining complicated data and voice infrastructure systems.

The latest products from Black Box include CAT5e and CAT6 angled patch panels that eliminate horizontal cable managers and save time, Elite Data and Server Cabinets, Optinet (bandwidth shaping/content filtering appliance), ServSwitch Brand CAT USB KVM Extender that sends high-resolution VGA video and USB signals over CAT5 or higher cable, and the ServSwitch Brand Short-Range KVM Extenders that provides high-quality video.

According to a press release, the Elite Cabinet family from Black Box delivers more door and panel choices and more cable management, whereas Elite Cabinets feature heavy-duty, welded steel construction and come with a lifetime Black Box Double Diamond warranty.

Optinet, the bandwidth shaping/content filtering appliance, eliminates non-work related Internet use.
 
The other products that have been added are a USB to HD Pro Converter that converts USB input to HDMI to play stored media on a big screen, Gigabit PoE Media Converters that link to faraway PoE devices over fiber, Net Tone and Net Tone Plus Cable Tracers that locate cable runs and test for continuity and voltage as well as a wireless Video Presentation System II that transforms a wired projector into a high-end wireless one and stream from a PDA.
