Comarch Signs MOU with Ergoman

Comarch, a global IT business solutions provider and systems integrator, reportedly has signed a memorandum of understanding with Greek company Ergoman, provider of tailor-made solutions in the telecommunications and IT business sector, with the aim of conducting common business development activities in Greece as well as commercial contracts realization in the Greek market.

In a release, Comarch (News - Alert) officials said the purpose of the agreement is to acquire a local partner in Greece that is responsible for business development activities.

In the case of commercial contracts it will also be Comarch's local representative for guaranteeing first line support for customers.

Company officials said the agreement will contribute to building awareness of Comarch BSS & OSS solutions among the biggest telecom operators and service providers in Greece and at the same time should enable Ergoman to enhance its products portfolio.

“Over the past 16 years Comarch has proven to comprehend the needs of businesses of various sizes,” said Piotr Piatosa, VP of telecommunications, member of the board, Comarch SA, in the release. “We have delivered solutions to operators all over the world ranging from Tier 1 to ISPs and emerging operators with small subscriber bases, and together with Ergoman we plan to do the same for Greek operators.”

It is worth mentioning here that Comarch and Ergoman have already conducted certain common business development activities on the Greek telecoms market and the primary results are very positive.
