Paris Gallery Enhances Service Levels Across its Distribution Network with Oracle Applications

Middle East’s premier luxury retailer, Paris Gallery, is reportedly using Oracle (News - Alert) Retail and Oracle E-Business Suite applications to optimize its retail strategies and support growth and service initiatives across its store and distribution network.

Oracle claims that its E-Business Suite is the most comprehensive suite of integrated, global business applications -- providing a complete integrated business intelligence portfolio and customer focused application strategy.

Meanwhile Oracle Retail helps companies keep pace with their customers and transform the way they do business. The software allows them to get a full unified view of their information – which in turn delivers economic value to the whole business, from in-store operations to corporate strategy to supply chain and logistical management.

These solutions will help Paris Gallery by providing a unified view of all merchandising, supply chain, store and back office operations across its 60 stores and three distribution businesses in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain.

Specifically, Paris Gallery has implemented Oracle Retail Merchandising System, Oracle Retail Warehouse Management and Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management to provide real-time insight into inventory within its merchandising, supply chain and stores operations and drive timely, accurate business decisions. The company hopes to keep pace with consumer buying pattern changes and seasonal demands. The solutions from Oracle will also help optimize efficiencies throughout the supply chain by improving transparency and speeding up the flow of merchandise to reduce lead-time.

The Oracle E-Business suite will offer a holistic view of business performance from which Paris Gallery can consolidate operational results. The company has also installed Oracle Human Resource Management to manage its human resource and activities from a single multifunctional system.

In a press release, Duncan Angove, senior vice president and general manager of Oracle Retail noted that Paris Gallery’s centralized business model will enable it to align its corporate growth strategies more effectively with requirements to improve margins, identify efficiencies and drive value from the business.

Recently Wavelink Speakeasy (News - Alert) added voice to Oracle Retail applications -- and Gryphon integrated PrivacyAdvisor 3.0 into Oracle CRM On Demand.
