ERF Wireless, a provider of enterprise-class wireless and broadband products and services,
reportedly has entered into a Master Services Agreement with
Partnership Broadband for the provisioning and delivery of broadband services to mobile and static oil and gas sites throughout the active Barnett Shale natural gas bearing formation in north central Texas.
“This is the second in a series of strategic agreements with other enterprise-class wireless network providers for coverage area expansion in active oil and gas territories,” said H. Dean Cubley, CEO of ERF Wireless (

Cubley said that when combined with the company’s continued acquisition of profitable wireless broadband networks, this approach allows ERF Wireless to quickly deploy services to new areas where the company’s growing oil and gas customer base operates.
“Over the past five years, Partnership Broadband has built a first-class wireless broadband network that currently serves more than 10,000 customers from 160 towers that cover more than 15,000 square miles and includes the Barnett Shale in the greater Dallas and Fort Worth area,” said Victor E. Grijalva, CEO of Partnership Broadband.
Grijalva said that the company is looking forward to building a strategic relationship with ERF Wireless and working with them to provide quality broadband services to their customers in the oil and gas industry.
Earlier this month TMCnet
reported that ERF Wireless entered into a Master Services Agreement with Canada’s Platinum Communications for the provisioning and delivery of bandwidth services to mobile and static oil and gas sites throughout the Province of Alberta.
Platinum Communications operates a wireless broadband network that extends from north of Edmonton to south of Calgary, covering more than 40,000 square miles and servicing more than 8,500 customers and 151 communities from 108 service delivery locations.
