The virtualization of traffic capture allows network administrators to see multiple views of network traffic simultaneously, so that one or more monitoring groups can see views appropriate to their function and/or location.
The vStack+ solution, which can automatically select the optimum path for routing traffic to analyzers so each stream has the lowest possible latency, ensures that each network analyzer is fully subscribed to only its traffic of interest, thereby maximizing the ROI of monitoring infrastructure.
vStack+ also can be used to load balance traffic along parallel paths between monitoring devices, ensuring packet order integrity in a network conversation. It can route up to 80 GigE of load-balanced traffic between any two vStack+ enabled traffic capture devices.
