CipherOptics, Carahsoft Provide Network Encryption Solutions for Government Agencies

CipherOptics, a provider of scalable data protection solutions, has announced a partnership with Carahsoft Technology Corporation to market and sell its network encryption solutions to government agencies.

Carahsoft is a government IT solution provider and has added the CipherOptics CEP line of standards-based encryptors and CipherEngine management solutions for network encryption to its General Services Administration or GSA (News - Alert) schedule.

Officials with CipherOptics explained that the ability to encrypt data in motion at wire speed without affecting network or application performance - its solutions are most suitable for government agencies.

The company’s CEP line of encryptors, offering 10 Mbps to 10 Gbps wire-speed encryption for Ethernet and MPLS networks and CipherEngine, can be purchased via Carahsoft GSA Schedule 70.
