DocAuto Enhances OutiM Server E-Mail Management Application

DocAuto, a provider of software solutions for Autonomy (News - Alert) iManage WorkSite, has announced several enhancements to its OutiM Server e-mail management application.
 
OutiM Server supports multiple approaches to e-mail management, and integrates with and extends the functionality of other e-mail management systems.  It supports Mailbox, Public Folder and PST processing, and can automatically copy.
 
In addition, OutiM Server can link any kind of Exchange content – messages, notes, tasks, contacts and calendar items – directly from filtered or non-filtered sources into dynamically-identified WorkSpaces or Folders in WorkSite. 
 
“As e-mail management needs become more and more complex, we at DocAuto strive to ensure that OutiM Server provides the flexibility necessary to manage e-mail content in conformance with records retention policies and the broad array of global compliance statutes,” David Kiefer, president at DocAuto, said.
 
The new enhancements include the ability to use pattern matching in Subject and Content filters, now with support for a broader set of wildcards.
 
According to DocAuto officials, the wildcard matching is useful for assuring compliance with HIPAA and other personal information compliance statutes. The wildcards can be used while performing filtering to identify content to be moved into WorkSite, or wildcard searching for WorkSite Folders or WorkSpaces to determine e-mail filing destinations.
 
In addition to finding the right destination automatically, and preserving organizational structure, the enhanced OutiM Server e-mail management application automates the continuous importing of email from Exchange Mailboxes, Public Folders or PST files into WorkSite.
 
Earlier this month, Smart Solutions - Collaborative Technology Solutions, or “CTS (News - Alert),” a provider of law firm technology and legal business solutions, announced that Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, India-based law firm, selected Autonomy iManage’s flagship information management solution iManage WorkSite for the legal market.
