A free copy of NuBot ITE will be made available to Qualified beta 2 users enabling them to execute tests using the Robot Server and Asterisk platform offered as a SaaS (

After the second beta testing, NuBot Platform will be publicly released as either a SaaS solution or as a fully on-premise solution.
A result of four years of rigorous research, the NuBot Automated IVR Application Testing Platform overcomes such limitations of the existing IVR testing platforms as high price and complex installation, operation and maintenance.
Based on a multi-tier software architecture, the NuBot Platform bundles up the NuBot Integrated Testing Environment (ITE), an Eclipse plug-in used to develop test scenarios, manage tests, and analyze results, the Robot Server, a middleware component that centralizes all call processing functions, and the Asterisk (

In addition to the benefit of fully integrated testing environment, the NuBot Platform offers several other features such as modularity, full versioning support, inbound and outbound support, dynamic telephony resources allocation and hosted or CPE offering.
"The modular test design capability of the NuBot Platform is really powerful," comments Yves Normandin, CEO of Nu Echo. "It allows our customers to re-use our test scenarios when developing an application that is integrating one of our packaged applications."
"NuBot evolved from the IVR automated testing platform that has been such a critical tool in our speech application development practice," comments Christophe Furet, Vice President - Professional Services at Nu Echo. "Now that it's a fully integrated Eclipse-based testing environment, it's infinitely more powerful and easy to use. We can develop hundreds of test scenarios in a matter of minutes."
