Levementum Enters into Alliance with Pentaho

Levementum, an open source system integrator, has entered into an alliance with Pentaho, the commercial open source alternative for business intelligence.
The partnership is expected to help Levementum customers to leverage Pentaho’s BI capabilities to enhance business decision-making throughout the enterprise.

Levementum officials said that this alliance combines the company’s business and technical expertise to identify solutions that provide quick, measurable ROI enabling incremental deployment of solutions across business units and outward to partners and customers with Pentaho BI products.

Company officials said that this combination delivers comprehensive, enterprise solutions that allow customers to integrate, analyze and share corporate information via reports and dashboards.

With these BI capabilities, customers will be able to increase profitability, enhance client relationships, expand market share, improve risk management and strengthen their competitive advantage, company officials said.

“While the open source community has provided point innovations in reporting and data integration, we strongly believe that Pentaho’s Enterprise Edition BI Suite provides the only comprehensive, integrated and scalable Business Intelligence and Data Integration platform in the open source environment today,” said Geoffrey E. Mobisson, managing director, technology and partnerships.

Mobisson said that with the broadest suite of capabilities and proven customer success in a wide range of deployments, Pentaho has emerged as the “clear leader” in open source BI, and as a viable and attractive alternative to traditional proprietary BI.

He said that organizations are increasingly recognizing the true value of information and are seeking ways to innovate and derive greater business value from it to achieve competitive differentiation.

He said that the company’s partnership with Pentaho will allow the company to focus on a single business intelligence architecture to help its open source customers unlock the data captured in their ERP, CRM, e-Commerce and CMS implementations.

Mobisson said that the company is excited to be working with Pentaho in introducing these products to the customers and look forward to an increasingly profitable relationship.

“As business intelligence and analytic applications become more mission critical to the enterprise, it is important to have strong partnerships with key technology solutions integrators like Levementum,” said Lars Nordwall, senior vice president of worldwide sales for Pentaho.

Nordwall said that the company is pleased to have Levementum join its Global channel program.

He said that Levementum provides a complete open source integration consultancy and has an impressive track record of success.

“Our joint customers will benefit from a complete BI solution delivered by proven open source experts at Levementum,” said Nordwall.
