Pivetal to Set Up Telecom & IT Managed Services in USA

Pivetal announced it will launch its U.S. based operations this September and will offer the entire North American market comprehensive managed Telecom and IT managed services that include voice, data, converged networks, sales, services, operations, and NOC (News - Alert), and will make available all relevant and specialist staff to execute projects and contracts based exclusively on customer driven requirements.
“Our new managed services team has extensive and solid carrier and enterprise experience, with voice, data and converged networks, from sales and service architects through to operations specialists and NOC personnel,” said Hendrik Dietrichsen, chief executive officer of Pivetal. “We are confident that our team, together with our maximally automated Cortex and QspeeQ software, will provide our customers with unmatched service levels as well as significant cost savings."
Pivetal, which currently supplies highly automated network management solutions for telecom carriers and communication services providers, said it is targeting Enterprise, Carrier and Government accounts with managed services for their voice, data or converged networks, and customers with increasingly complex IT systems and their resulting operational challenges.
Pivetal said it guarantees customers improved speed of operations, enhanced business visibility, reduced total cost of ownership, and assured relatively speedy Return On Investments, and plans to spread its business reach internationally during 2010.
“For several years we have been providing significant managed service elements to our customers, whose internal teams are all stretched to the limit,” said Dietrichsen. “Current business conditions mean that our customers are searching out savings and advantages wherever these may be found.”
The company claims it has at least three significant qualities that place it in a league of its own. One, it caters to general as well as specific customer requirements and works within the customers’ environments and comfort zones. Two, it has advanced automated network management and surveillance solutions that always deliver network and systems availability. Three, it allows customers to choose between dual-site hosting for extra security, or hosting within the customer's own data centres, or a combination of internal, external or offshore hosting.
The company said that all its management systems are hosted in secure Tier-1 Service Level Agreement compliant data centers, with extensive connectivity to major network infrastructure, and customers can choose from services encompassing fault management, network performance management, configuration management, NOC services, and on-site personnel and consulting services.
