Fujitsu, a provider of complete portfolio of business technology services, computing platforms and industry solutions, has announced its strategy to bolster its indirect sales capacity for the small and medium enterprise (SME) market.
In addition to releasing the new PRIMERGY TX100 S1 server, the company also announced expanded reseller agreement with SYNNEX. Additionally, company also announced the appointment of William Buie as senior vice president of Alliances, Channel and SI Sales for Fujitsu (

SYNNEX is a business process services company and a partner of Fujitsu. Company said that it has expanded its reseller relationship to offer Fujitsu server products like the PRIMERGY server systems.

Alert) to offer a complete range of Fujitsu hardware and applications, including the new PRIMERGY TX100 S1 server, according to company officials. In addition, company also now offers Fujitsu LifeBook mobile PCs and Tablet PCs and ETERNUS storage systems.
PRIMERGY TX100 S1 is an entry-level server that increases operational efficiency, performance and security. Officials said with this new product, channel partners can help their SME clients succeed.
Buie said that recognizing the value of indirect sales program in achieving company’s global sales growth targets, Fujitsu developed a strategy to help its partner community tap into the SME market.
“By affording our partners the ability to deliver cost effective vertical market solutions to each of their clients, SMEs are able to protect and grow their businesses with world-class Fujitsu products,” he added.

Since the introduction of the Fujitsu Accelerator Partner Program, the company claims to have increased its client base in the mid-market by 20 percent. Company officials said that the Fujitsu ETERNUS storage system has been integral to the success of the Accelerator Partner Program.
