Mission Australia, one of the nation’s not-for-profit community services and employment organizations, has selected
Sonar6 for its not-for-profit performance management across Australia.
As part of the pact, Mission Australia will use Sonar6's performance review and succession planning solution for 3,500 employees in eight states and territories across Australia.
“We wanted to simplify the way we track the performance of our people across the organization so we can gain a greater understanding of how well they’re performing in comparison with their peers and what skills and capabilities they have,” said Andrea Muras, organization development manager, in a statement.
Muras said Sonar6 stood out against other providers because of its simplicity. Its solution was one of the few on the market that gives the company a bird’s eye view of the entire workforce so the company can take a much more strategic approach.
“It allows us to clearly identify the strengths in our organization, find the stars amongst our staff and nurture them, as well as focus our development and support,” Muras said. “The information that Sonar6 gives us will also be critical to planning for the future needs of our workforce, and ultimately that enables us to provide better services to our clients – whether that’s someone who is looking for work or a person who is homeless and in need of accommodation.”
Muras said that Mission Australia have been helping to transform the lives of individuals and families in need for 150 years and it wants to have the best systems in place to make sure it can offer the highest quality services for next 150 years.
Sonar6 Head of Experience Michael Carden said that Mission Australia’s decision highlights the flexibility and accessibility of Sonar6’s performance management solution.
“Sonar6 provides a fully configurable solution, equally suited to NFP organizations as to the big corporate,” Carden said in a statement. “We’ll be working closely with Mission Australia to deliver the solution they need for their future development.”
Based in Auckland, New Zealand and San Francisco, Calif., Sonar6 has provided online performance management and succession planning solutions to companies around the world since 2004.
