Insight Enterprises, which offers its services to large enterprises, small- to medium-sized businesses and public sector institutions in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific, demonstrates commitment in providing value, as well as customer satisfaction, Microsoft said.
This is the fifth year the company has earned the award, Insight Enterprises said.
According to Insight, companies around the globe rely on it to acquire, implement and manage technology solutions to empower their business. It is also one of Microsoft’s global licensing resellers, and has clients in 170 countries.
“The Operational Excellence Award recognizes the channel partners who have effective operational processes along with dedicated personnel to meet and exceed performance goals defined by the channel management group at Microsoft Licensing," said Lynne Frankel, general manager US reseller sales, Microsoft, in a statement. "Insight has demonstrated operational excellence this year in support of Microsoft’s Volume Licensing Customers doing business with them."
According to Microsoft, Volume Licensing programs and products offer a framework of highly customizable—and scalable—solutions that help add value to the services, thereby position the partner as a qualified vendor of comprehensive IT systems. These programs mainly serve the requirements of organizations that acquire five or more licenses, but do not need multiple copies as well as do not want to keep track of numerous individual license agreements.
Microsoft’s Volume Licensing offers partners with the potential for substantial savings, ease of deployment, flexible acquisition, varied payment options, and other benefits, such as ongoing maintenance, Microsoft said.
"We are pleased to be recognized once again for meeting Microsoft’s highest standards,” said Dave Casillo, senior vice president, strategic partnerships and marketing, Insight, in a statement. "Microsoft is a significant partner and we continue to focus on expanding our capabilities and technical resources to help clients throughout the world optimize their Microsoft environments.”
