Cleo Releases Cleo Integration Server

Cleo Communications has released Cleo Integration Server (CIS) with VLTrader secure communication server to provide an end-to-end solutions for customers.

 

As companies continue to opt for integration servers that provide interaction between various operating systems and applications among internal and external networked computers, standards are becoming more sophisticated.

 

Integration server applications follow various standards such as XML, HTTP, JMS and SOAP.

 

Cleo Integration Server maps and tests workflows with the help of an easy to use graphical process designer. Using an object-based architecture and SOA approach, the server promotes reusable components and functionality across disparate custom, packaged and legacy applications. A company's own IT staff can create integrations without the need for outside services as there is no requirement for custom coding.

They need to continue to leverage multiple systems from an economical standpoint, but they need these systems to work together," explains Todd Enneking, Cleo's vice president of Business Development. CIS also facilitates any-to-any mapping between different data formats. Multiple message formats and schemas are supported including XML-DTD, XSD, Hierarchical, attributes, enumerated values, ASCII Text/Flat, Fixed-length, HTML, HL7, EDI, AL3, Excel files, and SQL compliant relational databases.

 

The software helps in tracking and monitoring transactions by offering complete management, reporting and auditing capabilities. It also provides other facilities such as real-time triggers and polling events to the customers.

 

The company recently released VersaLex version 4.1, the technology powering the VersaLex Suite of products for secure file transfer and automated Internet-based communications. The VersaLex Suite includes LexiCom, VersaLex Trader (VLTrader), and VersaLex Proxy (VLProxy). VersaLex 4.1 offers several new features and enhancements. This allows trading partners to view file transfer history and manually upload and download files.
